6a. Spotify Data Practices
When you use the "Open in Spotify" feature in Pitch:
- No Personal Spotify Data Collected: Pitch does not access, collect, or store any data from your personal Spotify account.
- Pitch-Owned Playlists: Pitch creates public playlists using Pitch's own Spotify service account. These playlists contain music curated from your friends' weekly selections.
- Minimal Metadata Storage: We only store playlist identifiers and creation timestamps to avoid creating duplicate playlists. We do not store Spotify user data or listening history.
- Ephemeral Playlists: Pitch-owned playlists are periodically removed and are not stored indefinitely.
- Your Control: When you open a Pitch playlist in Spotify, any actions you take (following, saving songs, adding to your library) are governed by Spotify's privacy policy.
